It all started as a hobby/home business in 2018 and then turned into a passion. Now I am putting my nursing hat down and devout myself to providing fulltime time care to my son and as well quality cake products and customized cakes to my beautiful hometown here in Cork, Ireland.

MEET JENN DE PAULA

Jenn is a trained neurosurgery operating room nurse with over 30 years of experience as a front liner in different areas of nursing specialties over the years and is now happily working as a full-time mom and homebased cake artist.

Originally from the Philippines, she came to Dublin, Ireland in 2001 and now she lives in Cork, Ireland with her four beautiful children. Jenn is a hands-on mother to her children who inspires her a lot in doing her baking business; especially to her son with special needs, who is the main reason why she discovered her passion for baking. She loves creating annd recreating art in all kinds of celebration cakes with handmade, edible sugar flowers and characters — finding a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction whenever she recreate and turn nature's blooms into edible art. She also loves to bake Filipino breads and pastries and other sweet delicacies.

Jenn has been nominated as one of the best cake artist in the Irish Wedding Award and was a finalist for the Munster area in 2024 for the Wedding Cake designer category. She lives locally in Bishopstown where she mainly supply commissioned and customized quality cakes.
